Frequently Asked Questions

Can siblings attend Parent Time in Imagine That! And Young Child classes?

Yes! The last 15 minutes of these classes is designed for the entire family to share in the learning process. All we ask is that you respect the other members of the class and keep your children with you at all times. If you must leave for a few minutes, please do so, but return as soon as possible.

Why do I have to purchase At Home Materials?

Kindermusik International has pulled together the best musicians, writers and artists to compile age-appropriate materials and instruments for you and your child. At Home Materials help continue the learning at home and must be used consistently to be effective. Every child enrolled in a Kindermusik class is required to have a full set of At Home Materials for each unit of enrollment. Besides - they're a lot of fun and will grow with your child as he grows!

Can my child's caregiver bring her to class?

Kindermusik believes that the parent is the most important teacher for the child. However, we understand that your schedule does not always match ours. We welcome caregivers to attend class, whether they be a sitter, nanny, grandparent, aunt/uncle or neighbor, provided they have your permission. It is up to you to find out what happened in class so you can continue the learning throughout the week.

Can I bring my cell phone to class?

We understand that cell phones are now a popular means of communication. However, we request that you turn them off during class time so as not to disrupt the rest of the class. If you must have your cell phone on for emergency purposes, please put the phone on vibrate for the class period. If you need to answer it you should leave the room and take your child with you. If you answer your phone in class and do not leave, your educator will politely ask you to remove yourself and your child from the class until your call is completed.
